It's that time of year! The annual MineSight Update CD is going through its final testing and will be shipping later this month. In this issue, you will find New Features in MineSight 3D v.5.00, Part 1 of a two part article which will conclude in January.

New Release of MineSight Basis (formerly MineSight Compass Programs and Procedures)
New releases of MineSight Basis are on our web site (www.minesight.com). There were numerous upgrades, so check the release notes. Some of the important upgrades are listed below:

  • Whittle conversion programs added to MineSight
  • gnlascnv: Now handles 100,000 intervals per drillhole
  • clinc/clres: Option to output reserves by seam
  • clsum: Option to report economics
  • m207v1: Option for CVS export
  • m202v1/m205v1: Option to skip header lines in input file
