MineSight for Modeling-Geostatistics
This course is for the intermediate to advanced user of MineSight’s geology tools. The course examines advanced geological modeling tools with an emphasis on the available geostatistical tools in MineSight 3D, MineSight Compass, MineSight Data Analyst, and MineSight Data ASCII Reformat Tool.
Prerequisites:
- Statistics or geostatistics knowledge, and
- Introduction the MineSight for Geology 3DBM, or
- Introduction to MineSight
Topics:
- Drillhole data analysis including compositing and coding
- Advanced geological modeling including various methods of interpolation
- Resource classification and reserve calculations
- Modeling and geostatistical analysis
- Blasthole models
- Model reblocking
