The combined premises accommodate more than 100 Tucson-based staff, a far cry from the one-room apartment where chairman and founder, Fred Banfield, started the company in 1970.

Hermosillo

MineSight Applications S.C.

Established in November 2012, Mintec's Hermosillo branch office serves the company's growing list of MineSight clients. Hermosillo is about 350 kilometers (217 miles) south of Mintec headquarters in Tucson, Arizona.
Serving clients from Hermosillo will be engineers and geologists trained in MineSight. They will support Mintec's client base in Mexico with training and by partnering on project work.

Lima

MineSight Applications Peru S.A.C.

Established in 1999, Mintec's Peru branch operates from Lima's Surco neighborhood. Led by branch manager, Ricardo Lanfranco, the office's staff includes mining engineers, geologists, an industrial engineer and administrative assistants. Lanfranco's team looks after MineSight clients in Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela and Bolivia.

Sistemas MineSight Applications Limitada

Established in 1993, the Santiago office is led by branch manager, Juan Martinez, whose team works from the fifth floor of a modern tower in the Alto Los Condes neighborhood. The branch takes care of MineSight clients in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Colombia, and offers technical support, training, and consulting services.

Vancouver

Mintec, Inc.

Located in trendy Yaletown, Mintec's Vancouver office opened in 1987 and now employs more than 20 staff, including Mintec president John Davies. Vancouver staff travels the globe, visiting clients from Vale Nouvelle-Caledonie's Goro mine site in the South Pacific, to several mines in Alaska. The office coordinates all technical support for Canada, with staff in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto.

When Mintec opened its United Kingdom office in October 2011, it filled the last remaining 'hole' in MineSight's map. Serving clients in Europe, North Africa, and part of Asia, the London team completes MineSight's global network. Two fully equipped training rooms are part of the London office, which offers technical support, geological introductory training, and engineering training.
