What's on your bucket list?
Come up with at least one great idea, like the pet rock
Hang glide.
See a gorilla fight a shark, but in the wild.
If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be?
John Mayer and I would spend the day just walking around the University of Arizona’s campus.
What was your first job?
I sold handmade face warmers to the entire Pond Cove 3rd grade class of ’95. If you didn’t have one, not only were you not cool, but your face was cold.
Happiest childhood memory?
When I came downstairs on Christmas morning to find a red Jeep Hotwheels.
Name one talent you'd love to have.
Teleporting, a skill that no one has yet mastered.
What's your all-time favorite movie?
Braveheart.
What's the most memorable place you've ever visited?
To me, memorable is memorable; once it’s in there it’s there for good. Instead, I’ll list the places that I don’t find memorable at all. … Never mind. I like Las Vegas, every time is a new experience.
What's in your refrigerator?
Right now it is fully stocked, but I like to keep it simple. Ham, eggs, beer, condiments, ginger ale, juice, milk, assorted fruits and vegetables, and bacon.
What are you reading (or what was the last book you read for pleasure)?
MineSight training workbooks, because they haven’t made the movies yet.
Who do you admire?
Fred Banfield. The man is impressive. He started Mintec from a house in Tucson, and it is not like there was other mining software around 40 years ago for him to go off of. Plus, meet him and try not liking him.
Lion vs. tiger: Who'd win?
Well, I think that I would stand a better chance against a lion, so I’m going to go with Tiger.
What’s so great about MineSight?
Too much for two minutes, but the best thing is the respect that we get both within Mintec and from our clients. Our Chairman, COO, and President know everyone by face and name. I’m 25 and I get to be an expert answering questions for and training people that may be my boss’s boss if I worked for another company.
What’s the best/worst feature of living in Tucson?
The best is that there is always something to do. The worst is the days when it is over 110 degrees. But it’s a dry heat, as I’m sure you’ve heard.
How much money do you have on you right now?
I don’t keep my wallet in my pocket when I am at work. I don’t like sitting on a slant. Does that answer your question?
What's the first thing you'd do if you won $20 million in the lottery?
Check the back of the ticket or wherever I heard the numbers from. I have seen multiple fake lotto jokes go down.
What's your favorite thing to do when not working at Mintec?
Playing with my dog, Midas. He’s the best.
Name three guests (dead or alive) at your ultimate dinner party.
Chris Farley, Jessica Alba, and can the Olsen twins count as one?
