Advanced MineSight for Short Term Planning
This course is for people with advanced knowledge of MineSight 3D and MineSight Interactive Planner who want to learn about the remaining short term planning tools.
Advanced case studies are used to demonstrate the interactivity between MineSight Schedule Optimizer (MSSO), MineSight Interactive Planner, MineSight Haulage (MSHaulage), and the MineSight Planning Database. Optimized short term plans are created based on various economic and material requirements and constraints while satisfying a user-defined objective. Complete the course and you will know how to use different methods of creating cuts (the short range ore-waste routing polygons) and how to assign mining directions to them. The course will also explore the different options available in MSHaulage and MSSO. The application of MSHaulage includes generation of haulage profiles, material routing reports and cycle time files. The MSSO will be used for short and medium term production planning to generate an optimum mining schedule in each period using multiple mining areas, multiple processes, multiple destinations, and blending requirements. The optimum schedule achieves the period objective satisfying comprehensive product quality and quantity requirements, as well as physical and technical constraints.
