Introduction to MineSight for Short Term Planning

This course is for new MineSight users who will be performing short term planning duties. The course introduces MineSight 3D. The MineSight Planning Database is used in conjunction with MineSight Interactive Planner to create and report reserves for material cuts. Blast pattern design and editing is covered.

After completing the course, you will know how to navigate the MineSight 3D and MineSight Compass interfaces, initialize projects, and perform CAD functions (points, polylines, polygons etc.) including cut and fill for road design. The course will then introduce the functions used to import topography, update existing topography and display drillhole data.  MineSight 3D Interactive Planner setup and functions will be followed by a review of designing, importing and editing of polygons or other geometry data. A general review of the Autoslicer functions will also be covered, along with reporting reserves and plotting. The course will conclude with an introduction to the MineSight Blast Pattern Editor.
