Introduction to MineSight for Surveying

This course is a general introduction for people who will primarily use MineSight for creating, modifying, updating, importing and exporting surface, road design and blast pattern information. The course introduces MineSight 3D with an emphasis on survey work. After completing the course, you will know how to navigate the MineSight 3D interface, perform CAD functions (points, polylines, polygons, etc.), import, export, edit and view survey data, import large survey files (LGO), triangulate surfaces from topographic contours, merge surfaces, e.g., pit shell and topography, incorporate updated toe and crest survey data, calculate mined volumes (calculate volume tool), design blasthole patterns, design ramps and calculate ramp volumes, design dumps and roads, merge dumps and roads with topography, determine cut and fill volumes.
